2008 Very Fair Ferry Fares:

Travelling to Europe by ferry has never been so cheap or so easy. We’ve some great deals with most ferry companies from the UK: P&O Ferries are offering one-way tickets from £25 in January and February; increasing to £30 from March onwards. Book early as P&O Ferries have restricted space at this price. SeaFrance have extended their superb value day trip until March 15th. Sunday to Friday departures are £25, whilst Saturday departures are subject to a £5 supplement. Brittany Ferries are offering discounted day trips from only £5 per person + £15 return per car based on up to 24hrs in France. Free reclining seats and a 50% discount off cabin accommodation is also available subject to space. Supplements apply to Friday night departures. Special discounts also apply to Motorcycles and Bicycles. Do book early for Summer 2008 as Brittany Ferries prices tend to increase as the peak seasons moves closer.
Stena Line are offering a 5% discount on all routes: travel from Harwich to the Hook of Holland, Fishguard to Rosslare, Holyhead to Dublin or Dun Laoghaire and Stranraer to Belfast. Norfolkline have Summer 2008 fares available from only £19 one-way. Space is restricted to late departure times, and often subject to availability. Day trips can also be booked from only £19 return. All sailings from the Eastern Docks with P & O Ferries nd Seafrance to Calais are running to time with space on all departures. Norfolkline to Dunkerque are running to time with space on all departures. SpeedFerries fastcraft services, form the Hoverport to Boulogne are running to schedule with space available. Rough Weather Cancels Sailings:

Message Updated at 0730 hours on Friday, 7th December, 2007: Current sea conditions in the Channel are rough, with a west-sou-westerly wind, Force 6 to 7, and the visibility is good. All sailings from the Eastern Docks with P&O Ferries to Calais and with Norfolkline to Dunkerque are currently operating with up to 60 minutes delay but have space on all departures. SeaFrance services to Calais are currently operating to schedule but are likely to experience delays later in the day. They too have space available. SpeedFerries’ first fastcraft service at 0700 hours has been cancelled, however they are hoping to operate remaining services and have space available.

MESSAGE UPDATED 06.00 hours on Wednesday, 5th December, 2007: Current sea conditions in the Channel are rough, with sou-sou-westerly Gale Force 8 winds, and good visibility. All sailings from the Eastern Docks with P&O Ferries and SeaFrance to Calais and with Norfolkline to Dunkerque are currently operating to schedule with space available. SpeedFerries’ fastcraft services, from the Hoverport to Boulogne advise that due to the adverse weather conditions in the Channel service may be subject to delays or cancellations.
