Rough Weather Cancels Sailings:
Message Updated at 0730 hours on Friday, 7th December, 2007: Current sea conditions in the Channel are rough, with a west-sou-westerly wind, Force 6 to 7, and the visibility is good. All sailings from the Eastern Docks with P&O Ferries to Calais and with Norfolkline to Dunkerque are currently operating with up to 60 minutes delay but have space on all departures. SeaFrance services to Calais are currently operating to schedule but are likely to experience delays later in the day. They too have space available. SpeedFerries’ first fastcraft service at 0700 hours has been cancelled, however they are hoping to operate remaining services and have space available.
