Stock up for Christmas: Enjoy the Festive Fun at Cite Europe!
If you’re already planning ahead to start stocking up for the fast approaching festive season then Cite Europe, the biggest shopping centre in Northern France, located near to Calais in Coquelles, is opening its doors on the five Sundays leading up to Christmas. Special openings from 1000am to 8pm each Sunday, will apply to all stores including the on site Carrefour Hypermarket, on Sunday 25th November and 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd December. Festive fun will also be firmly on display at Cite Europe as the centre will play host to many attractions and spectacular decorations throughout including :
Frozen Lake – a dedicated area for children, where presents will be hidden within the lake and youngsters will have to fish for them ;
Dormitory of the Imps – for those who want to relax, take a break from their shopping and listen to the Christmas story ;
Labyrinth of Snow is a must for children, and if they wish to make a present for their parents, then a visit to The Santa Claus Manufacture will give them the chance to make something special of their own ;
The biggest and most impressive attraction will be two giant snow toboggans surrounded by Christmas trees set within the shopping centre, creating a superb Alpine setting. There will be a red track 3.5 metres high for the more adventurous and a smaller run for young children.
Cite Europe provides 147 shops, 20 restaurants and many permanent leisure facilities to enjoy a full and varied day out in France.
